At Granite International Executive Search, we believe that a disciplined, methodical process is the foundation for successful executive search. Based on this belief, we apply the following process to every search:
Stage One: Information Gathering
- Meet with the client and all stakeholders to gain relevant insight and background on the position and gain a full appreciation of the culture of the client organization.
- Develop a position specification and core competency criteria including personal characteristics to serve as the benchmark against which all candidates are measured.
- Develop a detailed search strategy including the identification of relevant executives at target companies.

Stage Two: Candidate Identification and Evaluation
- Contact potential candidates and sources.
- Screen appropriate candidates through our in-depth interview process.
- Present a benchmark candidate when appropriate.
- Provide complete written candidate evaluations.
- Present the most qualified candidates who match the agreed upon criteria.

Stage Three: Candidate Selection and Offer
- Client interviews a short-list of candidates.
- Complete reference and background checks.
- Select finalist.
- Work with client to develop an offer.
- Present and negotiate the offer.
- Coach the placed candidate through the resignation process.

Stage Four: Follow-Up
- Conduct regular follow-up discussions with the client and the placed candidate to ensure the smooth integration of the candidate and to identify and address any potential issues early on.
